A little more than a month ago, my husband and I bought our first house from John Lough. We had started looking for a house about a month or so before we found our home. Upon initially meeting John and his partner, Anne, we were clear that we were in no hurry to buy a house and, in fact, had a long term plan to buy in about a year.
